The moderators of this forum will try hard to edit or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible. However, it is impossible for them to review all the messages. You thus admit that all the messages posted on this forum express the sight and opinion of their respective authors and not those of the moderators or the Webmaster (except messages posted by them) and consequently, they cannot be held responsible of the discussions.

This forum uses cookies to store information on your computer. These cookies will not contain any personal information; they are only used to improve comfort while browsing. The address e-mail is only used in order to confirm the details of your registration as your password (and also to send you back your password if you forget it).

- Aggressive or slanderous messages, as well as personal insults and critics, the coarseness and vulgarities, and more generally any message contravening the French laws are prohibited.
- Messages who promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited.
- If you post informations which come from another site, look first if the site in question doesn't forbid it. Show the address of the site in question in order to respect the work of their administrators!
- Please post your messages only once. The repetitions are unpleasant and useless!
- Please make an effort on grammar and spelling. SMS-style language (ex: r u sk8ing?) is not advised!

Any message contravening the listing above will be edited or removed without additional notice or justification within deadlines which will depend on the availability of the moderators. Any abuse will involve the cancellation of the registration. Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right! We reserve ourselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of any malevolent behavior. An IP address of each poster is recorded in order to help us to make you respect these conditions.

Ratings

This site is recommended for people aged 14 and up. It is difficult to pinpoint an actual rating definition from the available standards. The actual rating would fall somewhere in the range of T-M [Video Game Ratings], or PG-13 to R [Motion Picture Ratings]. TV-14 [Television Ratings] is a good way to explain it.

Language

Swearing is allowed. Most, if not all, characters will be adults, and adults do swear. Some words are not permitted, and will result in warnings and possibly even being banned.

Not Allowed:
- Sexually Explicit Terms: Including, but not limited to, certain bodily fluids, body parts, indecent acts.
- Prejudicial Slurs: Whether the term be derogatory towards Race or Sexual Orientation, it is not allowed.

Everyone gets a first warning, and a list will be compiled accordingly. Some words, terms, or phrases may result in only a single warning before being banned due to their use.

Explicit Content?

Graphic Sexual Content is Not Allowed. There may be 'before' scenes, and there may be 'after' scenes, but anything 'during' is not allowed. Characters are allowed to engage in kissing, making out, and vague amounts of petting and grinding. They are allowed to do whatever they want, wherever they want, but expect to be stopped by the Police for indecent exposure if they attempt to cross certain lines in public areas.

Note: Intimate acts with minors are strictly NOT allowed. See the next section for Relationship Rules.

Violence

Violence is allowed, almost encouraged for some characters. This site centers around Superheroes, and with Superheroes come Supervillains. There will be fights. Some may be more gruesome than others. People may end up bleeding, broken, and/or dead.

Keep in mind: If your post makes your partner lose their lunch, they may not wish to post with you anymore. Try to moderate the gore.

Acts Of Violence Not Allowed:
-Sexual Abuse/Rape is Not Allowed
-Child Abuse is Not Allowed
-Spousal Abuse/Domestic Violence is Not Allowed
-Animal Abuse is Not Allowed

Relationships

There are a few rules about relationships.

Minors:
No one under the age of 16 may enter into a relationship with anyone over the age of 18.

Examples:
15 + 18 = Okay
16 + 19 = Okay
17 + 20 = Okay
15 + 21 = Not Okay

Orientation:
All gender combinations are welcome on this board. There will be no discrimination against anyone [character or handler] for their sexual orientation. Anyone caught harassing someone about their orientation will be in immediate trouble, and most likely banished.

Marriage:
Anyone age 15+ may get married with their parents consent. Arranged marriages are allowed, but cannot be forced. Parents are allowed to threaten their children with being disowned, but no characters can be forced to marry another via entrapment or physical punishment.

Bullying & Harassment

Bullying and/or Harassing other players is strictly forbidden.

Yes, there will be fights between characters, but no player should feel that they are targeted for OOC reasons. If you feel you are the victim of bullying or you are being harassed by one or more other players, immediately inform an Administrator so the problem can be dealt with accordingly.

Fighting & Death

As mentioned before, there will be a certain amount of violence in many threads on this site. There is no point in being a Superhero [or Supervillain] if you will not be fighting. That said, each player must be very careful not to GodMod.

GodMod? ... God Mode?

Whatever term you are used to hearing it by, choosing what another players character does before he or she does it is not allowed without their permission. For instance, if Captain America was battling against Redskull, Cap could not say that he threw his shield and decapitated his enemy without Redskull's permission.

He could, however, throw his shield at his enemy, and leave it up to Redskull to decide how it hit and what sort of damage he took.

Damage..?

Well yes. Of course. No matter how powerful your character is, he or she is not invincible. Need an example? Loki is a god, or as close to one as this site is likely to have, and even he got his ass handed to him by The Hulk. No one is infallible. Your character will get hurt; even if it is just one of our administrators smiting them for not playing fair.

Okay, I'll get hurt... but do I have to -die-?

Nope. You don't have to. But you can. If you want. Deaths happen. There are casualties in every war. When a player character dies, that account loses all posting privileges (except for the out of character forums) and their Superhero/villain name may be able to be taken up by a protege/sidekick/random other super.

Graphics

In Threads

The first post in a thread may have one graphic in it to help explain the setting of the scene. This graphic may be no larger than 500x500, but it may be smaller. The graphic may not have pornographic nor extremely violent subject matter. Graphic rights may be removed if these rules are not followed.

Signatures

Maximum Signature Size: 500x200

Can my characters friend/loved one/pet/car/house be in their signature? Yes, so long as it is obvious which of the humans in the graphic is your character.

Avatars

Avatar Size: 100x100

Only your character may be present in the Avatar picture.

Animated Graphics Are not Allowed.
They slow down the site.
