History

[Family]: Joshua's family is very fond of normal. Joshua had an okay childhood, and his parents weren't bad people. But when they caught him practicing his telepathy in his room when he was fourteen years old, he was not given a second chance. His brother, afraid of being judged by his parents as well, has not spoken with him since. Joshua wasn't sure about what his parents might do to him, so he ran away. He is now living with his uncle in New York, going to school there as well. His uncle expects him to pay rent ever since he turned sixteen, and Joshua has had several jobs ever since.

[Personal]: Joshua has had his telepathy powers ever since he was born, though the first time he actually used it that he was aware of it, was when he was about six years old. He's quite skilled with them now. As he grew older, another power also started to grow. His first real experience with it was when he was fifteen during a football game, when all the excitement of all the people there suddenly made his head felt like it was going to explode. He had no idea what it was, nor did he have anyone to ask, but as it grew more defined, he was able to find out that he was able to feel people their emotions. He couldn't actually do something with them, other then endure them effecting him, so until now, Joshua has only found the fact that he's an empath annoying so far, and has not yet decided if it has any benefits.
